The ESA RN34 Sociology of Religion Network held its first Bi-Annual Conference in Potsdam, 3-5 September 2012 (click here to see some photos from the conference). Centred on the theme ‘Transformations of the Sacred in Europe and Beyond,’ the conference stimulated wide-ranging discussions and helped scholars to establish new contacts and networks. A special thanks is due to ESA RN34 Vice Chair Heidemarie Winkel for her organisational work.
We are looking forward to keeping those conversations alive at the 12th general ESA Bi-Annual Conference next year in Turin.
